Merit Badges

There are 120 merit badges. Merit badges required by the Eagle Scout rank have a white border while all other merit badges have a green border. There are 15 Eagle Scout merit badges. Only 12 must be earned. For more information on those merit badges, see the Eagle Scout rank. Some merit badge requirements are updated annually. The merit badge requirements on this site reflect the 2003 requirements.
